Here's a quick card I made up for the Ranger Ink challenge for June. Just hugged the deadline on this one! The theme was camping. Here's my take on it. I used lots of Ranger Distress Inks. I think they are my favorite inks! I also used Ranger black archival for the image and the quote. Sponged in the colors and blended them for the forest floor and sky area. Used various twigs and tree stamps and a few colors of distress inks on these but mostly shabby shutters and vintage photo.

I Played around with some of the great collage images I have collected from Paper Imagery Designs. I don't know why I tend to hoard so many items and not use them but I do! I also very rarely try anything collage-type even though I love what others make. I really need to branch out and just play with it more often. I like the way these atc's came out and were very simple.

Here is an atc I did for a couple of Black & White themed swaps. I used a ribbon frame for it. It was really fun and I plan to do more of these. I really liked the results but then, black and white is one of my favorite effects. This is another one of Artistic Outposts stamps sets. I just love it. It is called Polaroid Cutie. Check out their stuff here.http://artisticoutpost.blogspot.com/ and be sure to post your results. Who knows, you may even win a free sheet of rubbah!

Here is a shot of the simple birthday card I made for my daughter Kayla. She turned 22 today and she loves purple. I am also showing a shot of her son Phillip who is 8 months old now. He was a tiny premie last fall and is doing so well now it's hard to believe he started out so rough!

Well, I promised to post the projects from my workshop last week-end with Michelle Zindorf and then when I went to take pictures of her samples and our group taking the class, my camera wouldn't turn on. I thought the batteries were dead so was disappointed but charged it up overnight when I got home. When I got up the next day, I tried it again and nothing! I asked a few others for their opinions and after a few days went and bought a new digital camera. Nothing fancy but it takes nice enough pictures. So here are my three cards I made at the workshop. I wish we could have gotten into the advanced class as well, but it was full. I will be watching or another chance at it though! She is soooo talented!

Here are a couple of ATC's I did for some swaps I will be sending out soon. "Paint It Up" and "Patriotic" are the themes for them.I just love this new set I got from Artistic Outpost for the Patriotic one. I really love their style and have so many of their stamps now. Here's a link to check them out for yourselves; http://artisticoutpost.blogspot.com/If you post artwork made from their stamps, you can win free stamps. How cool is that!!! I have been so busy I have barely had time to make art much less post it. Worked on my Inchies today and they are drying now. Back to work again next week, so I better get "Arting It up" while I can!

Going to a "Surprise 50th Birthday Party" for a girlfriend this week-end so made her this card. I can relate as I just turned "the big 5-0" last week! Yikes!

OK, I couldn't wait to get to Buffalo to try Michelle's techniques, so I followed a tutorial from her blog and made this one quickly last night. What do you think? I didn't have the same ink colors that she used but I love it!

Here are three atc's I did this week for some of my international swaps I participate in. Letter "Q", Fruit, and Lace. I am on vacation this week and next, so hope to get all caught up on swaps for the month. Going to Buffalo, MN. tomorrow morning for a brayer workshop with Michelle Zindorf. Very anxious for this class! Will post my projects when I get back.
