Here are a couple shots of Savanna's graduation and party. We had a gorgeous day and a really nice turn-out here for it. all went pretty smoothly if I do say so myself. Lots of food lef over of course but gave a lot away and will freeze more of it. she is waiting anxiously for her trip to Anaheim in July for FBLA now.

Top picture is of Kayla, my middle daughter, muself, Savanna, the youngest, and Angela, my oldest daughter. The next one is Savanna and I, and the last one is Savanna and her cousin Aaron who graduated with her.

Just playing with some distress inks today for a little while. Had to make a Spring atc for one of my atc groups online so here is my addition. Haven't had any time to create lately with Graduation this month, but it is finally behind us. Yeah!

Here's a quick card I did at a Make 'n' Take last week-end. I have had the stamp for a long time so thought this would be a new idea to use. I love how the birch trees pop with the white pencil added!

I needed to make some atc's to trade with "Music" as the theme and here is what I came up with today. I got some old sheet music from a girlfriend and rubbed it with Ranger Distress Inks in three colors and then spritzed it with water in a mini-mister. When dry, I stamped with Versamark and embossed with black detail embossing powder. Added a music brad and matted.

I tried a new Technique today from The TJ newsletter called "Glittered Edges". I didn't use a glittery embossing powder though, I used one called "rusty tin can" that I picked up at a convention a couple of years ago. I had to make 10 atc's for one of my groups with either geckos or lizards and thought this was a cool background for them. For the geckos, I did a "Simple Green Spritz" with the Desert Sun Kaleidecolor pad but thought it was too pink, so I grabbed my Red Pepper mist by Adirondack and darkened it up a bit. Stamp is by "I Brake For Stamps." The cutting took a while but I like them!
