One World One Heart was so much fun. Just wanted to share with everyone the two marvelous prizes I won this year. From Ann, I got these gorgeous crochetted flowers and she altered this cute little notebook and had it all tied together in the tissue with this button bow that I hated to open it. She also sent enough buttons to be the flower centers. Darling card that matches everything too. So cute! Della, from I brake for stamps sent me a half-sheet of new rubbah! I got to go to the site and choose which one I wanted which was difficult as she has so many great ones! I have quite a selection of her stamps as I do order from her often but winning, well, that's so much better! Thanks to both gals and to Lisa for throwing this great event every year.

Here's the birthday cards I whipped up and mailed out to two of my sisters last week, Sue's birthday is on the 11th, and Patty's is on the 14th. Yup, she's a Valentine gal. My Mom wanted to name her Valerie because of it, but Dad won with Patrice Maureen to keep the Irish name thing going strong!

I used the new Mono Dies technique for them from Technique Junkies latest newsletter. I sent Sue's a day late because she still isn't over last year's card being store-bought from ME! Don't want her whining about it this year now, do we! LOL

I had to think fast on Valentine's Day as I forgot to get anything around for the local three grandkids and they were on their way for the day. I quickly pulled together this Valentine Card and made three of them for Victoria, AJ, and Phillip. Phillip was way more interested in the heart-shaped Reese's Peanut Butter Cup inside than the card but my two "crafters" loved it all. I even got a bite!

I needed a baby card for a shower I 'm going to today for the nephew and his fiance' & their little guy, Conor Brooks, who is due in April. I had this die forever still in the wrapper so I pulled it out and cut the frame and added the rest til I liked it. I wish I had run it thru the swiss dots folder too. Next time I will. Quick and easy and I like it. It doesn't get any better than that! Loved using those little safety pins that I've had for years and haven't used.

Well, It's time again for the yearly One World One Heart blogger event and I spent the day making a project to use as my give-away so that I can also participate this year. So hop onto the magic Carpet and take a Ride over to the site by clicking on the logo to get the main list of all the participants. To win my giveaway, you must leave a comment on this post and include your link or an amil address so I can contact the winner. It goes thru Feb. 15th and I will choose and announce my winner on the 20th. I altered a picture frame to offer the winner from my blog using crackle paints and distress inks after painting with gesso. I made some roses out of patterned paper and then dipped them into melted UTEE as I saw on Sherry Cleaver's blog a while back to make a faux porcelain rose. Cut the leaves with my big shot, inked them and dipped those also. You will have to add your own photo though, I just put one in for the picture.

I signed up to be in the Birthday Club in the Everything Wedy Vecci yahoo group that I belong to. There are two birthday gals for February so I made both of their cards the same. We are supposed to use a combination of Wendy's stamps and techniques. I am still not moving very well with the pinched nerve in my neck but have some movement on my left side now so got mine made today and ready to mail out tomorrow. I am hoping to be better tomorrow so I can work again on Wednesday. Wish me luck!

One of the newer members of our ATC'S ARE Us yahoo groups asked about the necklaces I made for all of the gals that attended last year when we met for our week-end of art and sharing we had in Stevens Point, WI., so I dug mine out and took a photo to show her. I used those samples of countertops, black UTEE, a mosaiic stamp, and perfect pearls powders and my heat gun and melting pot to make them. Burned my fingerprints off by the time I had 30 of them made the night before I left. LOL Nothing like procrastinating!
