November's club gathering was hosted by me. We had a fun-filled day of crafting as we had it on Veteran's day, so no work and we stamped all day long. I love those stamping play-dates! Here are the cards I made for the day.I didn't have the right color of glitter paper so used white and then colored the champagne with our Barely Beige Shinhan marker. i also made the other cards like this with the glasses touching at the top to "clink" them. Sure do love that Sangria paper pack! I love that deer head on the new Artistry cartridge! So many cool images on this one. It's my favorite one yet!

October's meeting

Here are the cards from our October meeting. Jacki was our hostess. We had a blast as usual! Her new home is really coming along! From her studio, we could look right out onto her "living roof". It is all planted in different types of sedums and other succulents. Very cool. Used the Stamp Of the month a lot and the new cartridge, Artistry. Love the new White Pines paper pack! i added purple sparkle gems to the flower vase make and take card after the picture was taken. Much better! On the light bulbs, I added liquid glass and they look real. Hard to see in the photo.

September club cards

here are the cards I made up for this past meeting. I am loving all the new colors and paper packs now that we can order from the new catalog and new seasonal expressions mini book! The September stamp of the month was my favorite one of all of them since I have been a consultant. So many possibilities and for all occasions!

Monthly stamping club- July

i can't believe I forgot to post the pictures of our last meeting on here. I have been so busy and it has been so hot here that I just have not gotten anything accomplished. had my big scare and spent the night in the hospital and had every test imaginable done to check out my heart, but have passed them all. apparently I had spasms in my esophagus so have to take a pill a couple times a day for it and use an inhaler when going outside or doing anything strenuous. Guess I can live with that, but would rather not have to take any pills. Enough about all of that. We did not meet in August as they all wanted to wait it out until we can order from the new catalog starting Sept. 1st, which is live now! Click on my link on the right hand side of my blog to shop. There's a brand new exclusive Close To My heart cricut cartridge that is just wonderful! Several gorgeous new colors as well. Sad to see so many of my favorites retire but always love to get the new arrivals as well. I found my inspiration from several fellow consul
tants for my cards and just put my own twists on them to make for my group.

June's gathering

I am the host this month and tonight's the night! I am quickly blogging the cards I will demo for them tonight before they arrive. Used the stamp of the month on the make and take and the new Shinhan markers. Love them! Also loving the blossoms paper pack! Can't get enough of it. Used a lot of bright summery colors. I am in love with all the new sequin color sets we are offering lately as well. Hope they keep these around for a while! Hope they like them!

May's gathering

Getting ready for June's gathering and realize I never even posted May's. I am getting so old! LOL Had a great time putting these cards together last month. i am really loving the stamp set with the coffee cups and the Jackson paper combo! Couldn't stop on these variations. Inside it has a gift-card holder cut using the Cricut cartridge. So fun and easy!

Spring has Sprung in Wisconsin

As I look into my flowerbed and go to spend hours of weeding, I just want to sing; Awake from your slumber..... Many of my perennials are coming to life and several of my spring blooming bulbs are putting on a show. My Bleeding Heart is gorgeous already even though it has been moved twice, it is thriving! All three of my clematis made it over the long, frigid winter so that made me happy and a few of my lily trees are popping. Looks promising for this summer to be full color!

April's club meeting

We had a great time at stamp club again this month, with Nancy as our hostess, but holding it at my house as she is in midst of a kitchen make-over and also broke her foot so can't drive or get to her craft room. Poor thing! Here were the cards I made for them and they all made the typewriter one using May's stamp of the month. I am loving the new Blossoms paper pack! Thought it was too feminine for me at first but it is gorgeous! Love the new sequin colors we added in the second Seasonal Expressions catalog that has just debuted as well!

March club cards

Wow! i haven't posted in forever! So sorry. Been so busy and stressed out here with the transferring offices at work and having to drive every day now. Not used to commuting anymore. Well, I am going to try to get back in the swing here. These are the cards I made up for the gals last month. We actually held our gathering at a new Wellness Center here for a change of pace, so I had everything just about done for them when we arrived so we could learn about all the equipment and benefits. It was sooooo relaxing. Then of course, we went next door and ate and had drinks. LOL I used the new Artfully Sent cartridge for my cards and had fun with it! Hope you like them! The sock monkey card was the make and take.

January CTMH monthly clug meeting

Kathy Parker was our host this month and we held it at my house. only two of the members besides myself were able to attend but we still had a great time. Here are the cards we created. The make and take i also created it a second time using one of the Christmas paper packs to show that it doesn't have to be made with only the heartstrings pack to be pretty. I actually don't know which I like better. I also used an old set I have of just flourishes and added them randomly to the test paper from that pack so that the whole sheet had swirls not just the one corner. Turned out great. I used blush and whisper inks to keep it subtle. They loved it! The other two were done using the Cricut and our exclusive cartridge Artbooking.I love this cartridge! it my very favorite of all of them!

Tim yumminess

Made this card up when Sandra and I got together for Veteran's Day stamping and forgot to post it. Love how it turned out. It was inspired by the lovely and talented Shelley Hickox.

Martin Luther King-Playdate

Whenever we get a postal holiday, we try to get together and make cards and spend the day together with friends. Jacki was our hostess this time and we had a great time! She made quiche, salad, and crusty bread for our lunch1 Wow, it was delicious! Diana and Nancy both had grandchildren dates, so couldn't make it and Deb wasn't going to either, but called last minute and said she was on her way. It was a wonderful, fun and laughter filled day as always. Here are some of the projects we made.Even though Nancy didn't come, she sent her adorable gift tag project with me so we could all make five snowman tags. Too cute! Sandra taught us how to quill and we made three lovely Valentine cards. Jacki had us using embossing paste with glimmery paper and some mica powders to do a technique called molten magic. Very cool effects! She also had us make paper fairy dolls using the Susan's Gardens dies. Cutie patootie! Deb didn't bring a project along as she wasn't planning to attend and good thing. We stayed until almost 6:30 p.m. LOL. I had them masking the embossed image and creating inky layers on a collage card, making snowmen treat-holders using the envelope punchboards, and making a masculine card using lots of Ranger, Tim Holtz, and dies. We had a blast! Hope the other gals can make it on President's Day.
