I needed some animal atc's for two of my groups and haven't done the Cracked Glass technique in a while so I used my deer stamp and colored and cut out and then applied versamark and utee and heated three layers worth, stuck in the freezer, and waited. When I took them out, bent enough to crackle all over and rubbed some distress ink into the cracks with a sponge. I forgot how much I like the results.

Never heard of this technique could you go into more detail. What did you stamp your image on? and so on.

Sure, it's easy but takes a little time. I just stamped on regular matte cardstock. Colored image with watercolor pencils and blend if desired. I cut out the oval portion. Rub Versamark ink onto the entire oval and then cover with UltraThick Embobbing Enamel in clear. Melt with heat gun; repeat two more times, and after three layers, put in freezer for 15-20 minutes. Take out and bend it in several directions to crackle the finish. I rub some distress ink ionto the cracks to enhance a bit further. Give it a try! Kathy
