CCC Week#5- Well, I got my computer back and I don't know if it's faster or not, but I know it is certainly faster then that old spare one I have been using this week! I had fun doing this week's challenge, Distress Embossing, found on page 43 of Tim's book. I masked off my deer image to stamp the trees but I think I got a bit carried away stamping in the scenery elements with various colors of distress inks. It got too busy but mine is very different from the others I've seen this week. I did it right away Monday but had no way to post it until now.

Kathy, when I saw your tag I made one of those happy sounds like kids make when they see a candy store! (Really, I did!) This is beyond gorgeous-- "breathtaking" would be a better word, in fact. The deer are so sweet, and the Distress Powder looks awesome. And I don't think you got carried away with the background at at all.
I love it, girlfriend! (And I love that John Denver started singing "County Roads" when the page loaded. Did you plan the soundtrack that way??
Hugs,
Linda
I'm going to have to try distressing like this. I love that it is a beautiful scene. Gorgeous!
Brilliant idea using scene stamps, I never would have thought about that! Great work, looks awesome!
This is fabulous, works so well in a scene, love it. Annette x
Very creative, Kathy! I love what you did, and how different it is from all the other CCC5s I've looked at.
In fact, where have I been? I don't think I've ever visited your wonderful blog. Bad me! Well, I'm now a follower.

You created such a beautiful scene! Love it!
Woah! What a charming piece!
I love that your creation's tag word is "trust." Coupled with the imagery, I'm seeing parental responsibility and even a bit of environmental responsibility.
COOL!
Oh Kathy, great job with the EP !!
Hello Kathy,
