It's a wrap! I have completed all of Tim's 12 Days tags. I still have several to make into Wendy style but not sure I will get to them until later. I do have to get my Christmas cards made, addressed, and sent out at some point. LOL I would like to get some more baking done as well. I really like these tags today. Struggled with the die-cutting though. Inked and crackled and waited for the whole drying period and then carefully cut them face down as instructed, and when I turned them over, my words were backwards! What!!!! So I flipped them over, re-inked and made Wendy's blue at this point, crackle painted and waited for not too long this time! Too p-o'ed to be patient now. Had to run to Wal-mart to get stuff to make some batches of Chai Tea mix for sister gifts and tried to get some holiday picks to use on the tags, and of course, they don't carry them anymore. They call themselves a supercenter, but our Walmart had NOTHING! So I found these sparkly branch twig things in ornaments and got a red and a blue and snipped them down to size. I love how they look on the tags. you should see how great the back of my ornaments looks from how nicely I did the technique beg=fore I cut it wrong. LOL Next time I will be cutting a sample on cardstock. I had to use patterned paper because I put my Seasonal paper pack by Tim in a special safe place and I still haven't found whee the hell that is! LOL Once the holidays are over I am sure I will find it.

It's true about the dies, you need to do a try run with scrap paper to make sure it's not UPSIDE-DOWN as I've done! lol Both your tags are very nice. Your paper stash will show up probably the day after tomorrow, or sooner, I hope.

These are great Kathy, and had you photographed the first die cut in a mirror, no one would have known! lol! Nice feeling to get them all done, isn't it? Love your versions, great job as usual! Ooo, that chai tea recipe sounds good, I like the Pacific spice blend from WalMart, but making your own sounds better!

I did the same thing Kathy...ended up buying another pack, can't have enough paper, right???
I usually do the words upside down...can't tell you how many times until I used Tim's tip, and put a dot at the top of the word dies....so easy...duh...
Great tag!!!

SO Kathy about your challenge. A Christmas tag a week? You are going to play too right? Should they all be Tim Holtz style? Shall we start the first week of January? Shall we wait till you find your paper ( laughing because I do that all the time). Have you seen Jennie (The Artistic Stamper) is having a tag a day til Christmas. I am game for your challenge. Get back to me.

Okay it's a plan. I made lots from other years but never kept them or kept them together. See you in January!
